Which AI Girlfriend Apps Renew Automatically
Five of the six do. Only LuckyLove AI sells Premium as a fixed term of 1, 3 or 6 months, and its billing page puts the promise in plain words: the subscription does not renew automatically, and you will never be charged again without buying again.
| App | Auto-renews | Refund or trial rule on record |
|---|---|---|
| LuckyLove AI | No | By email to support, decided by a person |
| Candy.ai | Yes | Within 24 hours, 20 or fewer tokens used |
| Replika | Yes | No refunds for partial months |
| Nomi | Yes | Set out on its refund policy page |
| Kindroid | Yes | 3-day trial requires a payment method |
| EVA AI | Yes | No refund rule on record here |
Renewal is where most regret starts. A forgotten plan bills again next month, and a refund request then runs into rules written for the app, not for you.
Refund Requests on LuckyLove AI
Email to support is the only route. There is no automatic refund button, and a person decides each request, according to the billing page and section 17.2 of the Terms of Service.
Two limits narrow that route further. Coin purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise, and crypto payments are final. Here the setup turns less friendly to buyers: once coins sit in your balance, getting cash back is the exception.
What softens it is that nothing renews. When a Premium term ends, the account returns to free, coins stay where they were, and buying again while a term is still active simply extends it.
The 14-Day Withdrawal Right in the EU and UK
Fourteen days is the statutory window for consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK. LuckyLove AI recognises it in section 17.2 of its terms, subject to the rules that govern digital content, so read those conditions before counting on the full window.
Candy.ai grants the same 14 days to EU and UK users, with an exception that matters. It does not apply to renewals, so the first payment is covered and the automatic ones after it are not. Outside those regions, a buyer relies on whatever each AI girlfriend app writes into its own policy.
Candy.ai's 24-Hour Refund Window
Twenty-four hours and no more than 20 tokens used. Both conditions must hold for a refund outside the EU and UK, per Candy.ai's subscription page.
The pricing raises the stakes. Premium starts at $9.99 for the first month, then renews at $13.99 a month, so the cheap entry rolls into a higher recurring charge. Three months cost $26.97 and twelve months $47.88, and every one of those plans auto-renews.
Twenty tokens go quickly, too. Premium's 100 monthly tokens pay for images, voice and video, and per-action token costs are not published, so it is hard to know in advance when you have crossed the line.
Cancelling Replika, Nomi and Kindroid
Store settings are where Replika billing stops. Replika's subscription help says plans auto-renew, cancellation goes through the store, and partial months are not refunded. Cancel the day after a renewal and you still pay for the month you will barely use.
Nomi bills the same way. Its Standard Plan is $15.99 a month on the US App Store, or $99.99 a year, and both auto-renew. The cancellation terms live on Nomi's refund policy.
Kindroid adds a trial step. Its 3-day trial needs a payment method before it starts, and Kindroid's subscription docs list auto-renewing Standard plans at $15.99 a month, $42.99 for 3 months or $159.99 a year. Put a reminder in your calendar the moment the trial begins.
Chargebacks Without Contacting Support First
Suspension is the risk. LuckyLove AI asks buyers to contact support before disputing a payment with their bank.
Section 17.4 of its terms spells out the consequence. A chargeback filed without that contact may lead to the account being suspended, and the billing page carries the same warning.

Suspension can cost more than the disputed amount, since every AI companion, her chat history and any unspent coins sit inside that one account. An email first is the cheaper move even when you are sure the charge was wrong.
Coins That Come Back Without Asking
Failed actions inside a chat reverse themselves. If a photo or clip fails to generate or deliver, if a charged message cannot be saved, or if a character cannot be created, the coins return automatically, with no email at all.
Small amounts are involved, but they add up. A failed photo returns 15 coins and a failed clip 30, and retrying a failed reply costs nothing. Actions refused for a low balance never debit anything in the first place. On an AI girlfriend app priced per action, that automation is worth more in daily use than any refund clause.
AI Girlfriend FAQ
Does LuckyLove AI Premium renew automatically?
No. Premium lasts the 1, 3 or 6 months you paid for and then ends. To keep it, you buy again, and a purchase made during an active term extends the end date.
Can I get my money back for unused LuckyLove AI coins?
Usually not. Coin purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires it, but unused coins never expire, so they stay usable on the account for as long as it exists.
Is a crypto payment for an AI girlfriend app refundable?
No, not on LuckyLove AI, where crypto payments are final. Crypto purchases also credit more slowly than cards, since they wait for network confirmation.
How do I stop a Replika subscription from renewing?
Cancel it in the app store account that bought it, Apple or Google. Replika lists Pro, Ultra and Platinum plans, and all of them auto-renew until cancelled there.
Does Character.AI auto-renew too?
Yes. Character.AI sells c.ai+ at $9.99 a month or $94.99 a year and c.ai lite at $4.99 a month, all on auto-renewal, while basic chat stays free with ads.
